La Maison Crème is a large sunny, spacious, detached house located right on the edge of the village of Reminiac near Malestroit and Ploermel in Southern Brittany. The property offers peace and quiet in a tranquil setting. Sleeps eight in four large bedrooms plus cot.

Its location makes it the perfect holiday spot for those wanting both the idyllic tranquility of rural France together with the option of getting out and about and visiting the nearby towns and beaches. The village of Reminiac with its restaurant (open every lunch time and most evenings), bars, church, village shop (with fresh baguettes and cakes) is within two minutes walk.The nearest large town is mediaeval Malestroit, less than ten minutes away. Ground floor
The front door opens into a large open plan kitchen/ dining room with a tiled floor. The built in kitchen is well equipped (full size fridge freezer, gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, etc).

Both of the shots above and below are taken with the kitchen behind you.

The lounge area is through an archway (see top photo) and has comfy leather settees, armchairs, stereo and a wide, flatscreen TV with a DVD player so you can bring your favourite films and play CD`s. There is UK TV and radio (free channels i.e BBC1 & 2, ITV 1,2,3,4 CH 4, News 24, CBeebies, CBBC, POP, Men and Motors and loads more.

Why not nip down to the bakers or village shop first thing and relax over a real French breakfast ?

Moving into the hall there are doors to the downstairs bedroom, the large bathroom (bath with shower) & separate WC.

The stairs to the first floor are shown below. Slightly behind this photo is the rear door which leads to the walled and gated rear garden.

Below is the downstairs bedroom which has large windows allowing the sun stream in. There is a double bed, a spacious wardrobe with hanging space, shelving and a full length mirror. Additionally there is a chest of drawers.

First floor
The first floor comprises three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are twin single bedded rooms with chests of drawers etc. The other room is a double room with a double bed, built in over-bed unit with cupboards and drawers.

A stair gate is available for use upstairs if required. There is also an attic room where you can store all your cases etc.

The house has been recently refurbished with new appliances and furnishings. It is fully centrally heated with radiators in each room, although these are normally only needed in the low season (see booking info).

Outside there's a walled and gated front and back garden (the barn opposite is empty, as is the neighbouring property), The front (see below picture) is graveled and complete with BBQ and garden furniture. There is also a secluded enclosed, walled and gated, grassed back garden (second picture) where you can sit in the shade of the pear tree, have a cold drink and take in the views across the fields. There are no occupied houses at all behind or next to the garden, just the empty stone barns in the shot below.

The single track road that runs past the house is shown below in both directions. In the distance on the second photo you can just see where Reminiac village begins. You wont see many passing cars !

Private parking is to the side of the house and is off road. The house is ten minutes from the motorway which leads direct to the ports.

There is a cot and a high chair in the house and a second cot is also available on request.

Internet connection
As we live within a few miles of the house you are free to come and use our PC to collect your E Mails. We have a separate office in front of our house and you can access the web to pick up your messages there. If you prefer to go to an internet café then there is one in Ploermel which is less than15 minutes drive away. Also Macdonalds at Ploermel has free Wi-Fi access
